"Helpful CE courses without the usual headache"
I used asce.org for a few continuing education courses and had a good experience. The topics were actually useful for my day-to-day work, not just random filler to check a box. A couple of the videos did run a bit long, but everything was explained clearly enough and I could follow along without much trouble. I also liked being able to do it on my own schedule and get the credits without a bunch of hassle. Weirdly, I remember one instructor had a tiny model bridge sitting behind him the whole time, and I kept noticing it during the lesson.

"Had a good feeling, and they came through"
I had a question about my student membership and just had a feeling it would be easy to sort out. They got back to me quickly, were really easy to deal with, and fixed everything without any hassle. Definitely a helpful experience.

"Good info, but I got a little lost"
The info feels really credible and professional, which I liked. I mean, it definitely seems like they know what they’re talking about. But the site itself was kind of confusing at times, like I’d be looking for one thing and then end up clicking around longer than expected. Not terrible, just not as easy to use as I hoped

"Good journals, no fuss"
Nice journals. Paper feels solid and they’ve been super useful for me. No complaints...

"Good courses, the site could be smoother"
I learned quite a bit from the courses, checkout was a little slow and could be smoother.

"Useful perks, even if the site tests my patience"
I’ve been using asce.org as a member for webinars, job resources, and standards info. The discounts are nice too. The site can be annoying sometimes and I don’t have a lot of patience for clunky pages, but overall the benefits are worth it for me

"Useful credential, but not the cheapest option"
I can see the value in the ASCE certification, especially if you want something solid to point to for career credibility. Compared with some other professional development options, though, it felt a bit pricey for what you actually get. It’s helpful, but I’m not totally convinced the return shows up quickly.

"Search is honestly better than I thought"
I mostly use asce.org when I’m trying to find papers or standards, and the search has been... solid, honestly. Results load quickly, and the filters are a big help when I only remember a piece of the title or I’m not totally sure what I’m looking for. It doesn’t get it right every single time, but usually I can find what I need without clicking around forever. Super useful site overall

"I found a few local events that were..."
I found a few local events that were actually useful. I also connected with other civil engineers in my area. It’s a simple way to stay updated and hear what’s going on.

"Support was helpful, just a little slow"
so I had to reach out to asce.org about an issue with my account, and it took a couple of days before I heard back. They did end up helping me get it sorted, which I appreciated, but the waiting part was kind of frustrating. Not a bad experience overall, just wish the response time was quicker.

"Worth it if you actually use the perks"
It’s got some useful benefits, but the dues do feel a bit high. I’d say it makes sense if you’re actually taking advantage of what’s included, but if you’re not using the perks regularly, common sense says it probably isn’t the best value.

"Payment worked, but I had to look twice"
I renewed my ASCE membership on ASCE, and to be fair, the payment did go through without any real trouble. The receipt showed up in my email after a little while, so I guess everything worked the way it was supposed to.
That said, the billing page wasn’t exactly the clearest. I found myself double-checking what I was actually being charged for, which made the process feel a bit less smooth. Not a bad experience overall, but I’m not totally convinced it couldn’t be made simpler.

"Not gonna lie, asce.org gets the job done..."
Not gonna lie, asce.org gets the job done when it comes to keeping track of my PDH credits, but it can feel a little clunky at times. I can usually find what I’m looking for, it just takes more clicks than I’d expect. Overall, it’s fine — not amazing, but not terrible either.

"Useful for ASCE codes, though the site could be smoother"
I mostly use ASCE when I need to look up standards and codes for work, and to be fair, the important stuff is there. The search usually gets me close enough to what I need, and once I find the right document, I feel confident that the information is reliable.

The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the website can be a little clunky at times. It’s sometimes slow, and a few pages aren’t as obvious to navigate as they could be. Still, it does its job, and I think 4 stars is fair based on the overall experience.

"Emails are just kind of hit or miss"
The emails were okay, but some of the updates just didn’t feel that relevant to me. A few were helpful, while others felt like they didn’t really apply.

"I usually end up on asce.org when..."
I usually end up on asce.org when I’m doing career-related stuff, which tends to happen when I’ve got a little downtime after dinner or I’m avoiding cleaning up my inbox. I don’t use it every single day, but the job board has had some solid listings, and the resume tips and webinar pages gave me a few ideas that I actually ended up using.

Some of the pages can feel a bit crowded, like there’s more going on than I need in the moment, but it’s still a helpful site overall. If I’m thinking about what my next step might be in civil engineering, it’s one of the places I’ll check.

"I did eventually get my refund..."
I did eventually get my refund, but canceling was way more annoying than it needed to be. It took a few back-and-forth emails, which felt kind of ridiculous, and the refund showed up later than I expected.

"Good info but kinda dense at times"
I found it useful overall and there’s definitely a lot of good info in there. Some parts felt a bit dense though so I had to slow down and reread a few sections.
